After downloading the application:
Click to install the application > click open
This launches the application on your device.
The next step is to click on Get Started (the right icon on the introduction page).
On getting to the Login page, as a first time user, you can choose to either Sign up or Login with Google (although both work fine, it is advised to use the Login with Google option as this is more streamlined and easier to use).
If you choose to use the Login with Google option
Click the button > Choose your preferred Google account > Click Ok.
Since you are a first time user, you will be asked to share your location with the application (this is important as this would enable us to protect your account more, and in cases where the login seems suspicious, to notify you promptly).
An error you might encounter while signing up with the Google option is when you have used the email earlier to create an account on another method, most likely the email method — you would have to Login using your username and password and not the Google account.
Ps: To change this is in the settings option after you login, or contact us regarding it.
After choosing your email to login and clicking ok, wait for a few seconds to be logged in.
Congratulations!
If you choose to go through the Sign up route
Click the Sign up option on the bottom part of the login page; you get to the sign up page. Fill all the details in, and click Sign up.
As a first time user, we would ask for your location for security purposes as explained above.
To confirm you own the email account, we send you an OTP to your email. After you receive and input the OTP, you should be logged in immediately to the application.
Troubleshooting
In case you get an error of invalid OTP, go through the following steps to resolve:
- Click the resend OTP button once the timer elapses and input the OTP it sends after.
- If that doesn't work, go to the Login page and login with your username and password you had earlier set on the signup page.
- You would be taken to the OTP page again to input a new OTP sent to you. After you input this, you should be logged in immediately.
- If this also doesn't work, click the resend button again to get a new OTP.
